Safari float Excursion Peñas Blancas River

We will take a 20 minute-bus ride to Peñas Blancas River to initiate our river journey. During 2 hours we will be kayaking along the river.

While paddling along the river, you might see and spot a great diversity of birds as well as mammals such as sloths, monkeys, reptiles and amphibians such as crocodiles, iguanas, colorful frogs, and snakes among others. While enjoying the exuberant vegetation in the surrounding area, our tour guide will periodically provide you with information on the details of flora and fauna mostly found here.

Later on, we will continue our journey by navigating back onto the river to reach a certain point on the riverbank where an A/C minibus will be waiting for you to take you back to Fortuna. A scenic drive past the San Carlos countryside will drive you to your hotel.

What to bring:  Comfortable clothes, hat, sandals, insect repellent, waterproof camera, binoculars, sunscreen lotion.
